Leaking transmission fluid?

This problem is faced by many car users. There are few possibilities. You will need to inspect which one is causing this leak. The most common cause is the front seal of the input shaft is leaking, this is commonly called the front pump seal, next would be the transmission pan gasket is leaking. The only real way to determine exactly what is leaking is to thoroughly clean all the fluid off with a pressure washer, then drive it and check for the source of the fluid.
If the front pump seal is leaking then the transmission must be removed from the car to replace the seal. This is a HUGE job.
This troubleshooting info will help.
