Fuel gauge works intermittently on Dodge Dakota?

Many dodge users face this problem.in some cases the gauge stops working completely and in some cases it works intermittently. The problem with the Fuel Gauge is a poorly designed fuel level sending unit inside the fuel tank. The sender is part of the fuel pump module. It can be  replaced by removing the fuel tank from the truck or by removing the truck bed and accessing it from above.
