Dodge Caliber Fuel Tank Removal?

How to remove fuel tank.
The step by step directions to replace fuel tank.

All this details are provided here.

The procedure is as follows :-----

To Remove:


Properly relieve the fuel system pressure.
Remove the air cleaner housing lid and disconnect the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor and make-up air hose.
Remove the rear seat cushion.
Remove the plastic access cover.
Disconnect the electrical connector and fuel lines.
Drain the fuel from the fuel tank.
Raise and safely support the vehicle.
If equipped with All Wheel Drive, remove the driveshaft.
Remove the exhaust system.
Remove the rear suspension stay bars.
If equipped with All Wheel Drive, the rear differential module must be lowered as follows:
Tie the rear driveline module to the suspension crossmember.
Support rear differential module with a suitable jack.
Remove the three mounting bolts and lower rear differential module from the suspension crossmember

Remove all necessary splash shields.
Disconnect the vapor canister line.
Disconnect the filler tube recirculation vent and purge lines.
Disconnect the rubber fill hose from the fuel tank.
Remove the parking brake cable mounts from the fuel tank straps.
Support the fuel tank with a suitable jack and secure the fuel tank to the jack.
Remove the fuel tank strap mounting bolts.
Lower and remove the fuel tank from the vehicle.

To install:

Lift the fuel tank into position and install the fuel tank straps. Tighten the mounting bolts to 35 ft. lbs. (47 Nm).
NOTE
Ensure the straps are not twisted or bent.

Install the parking brake cable mounts.
Connect the filler tube recirculation vent and purge lines.
Connect the fill tube to the fuel tank inlet. Tighten the hose clamp to 38 inch lbs. (4 Nm).
Connect the vapor canister line.
Raise and install the rear differential module.
Install the rear suspension stay bars.
Install the splash shields.
Install the exhaust system.
Install the driveshaft.
Connect the electrical connectors and fuel lines to the fuel pump module.
Install the plastic access cover.
Install the rear seat cushion.
Install the air cleaner housing lid and disconnect the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor and make-up air hose.
Connect the negative battery cable.
Pressurize the fuel system with a diagnostic scan tool and check for leaks.
