Mercedes Camshaft cover or Cylinder head cover Removal?

How to replace Mercedes Benz Camshaft cover or Cylinder head cover replacing on Mercedes Benz.

Camshaft (Cylinder Head) Cover
REMOVAL & INSTALLATION


  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2. Remove the engine cover.
  3. Remove the air filter housing and intake tube.
  4. Detach the components from the cylinder head covers; this includes the vacuum hoses, crankcase ventilation hose, transmission dipstick tube and ignition coils.
  5. Remove the bolts securing the covers, then remove them from the engine.
  6. Installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten the cylinder head cover bolts to 71 inch lbs. (8 Nm) on M112 engines and 7 ft. lbs. (10 Nm) on M113 engines. Be sure to use a new gasket
