HC error code on Top Load Washer

This HC error code will appear at the end of the wash cycle to indicate that the hot and cold water inlet hoses are switched.
If the hoses are not switched it could indicate a problem with the Electronic Control Board.
You can try to rest the washer by unplugging or flipping the breaker to the washer for 2-5 min.

Restore power to the washer and try running a short cycle. This will help clear any irregularities that the control board may have encountered.
