How to replace heater core on Buick Regal?

Heater Core

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

CAUTION
When draining the coolant, keep in mind that cats and dogs are attracted by ethylene glycol antifreeze, and are quite likely to drink any that is left in an uncovered container or in puddles on the ground. This will prove fatal in sufficient quantity. Always drain the coolant into a sealable container. Coolant should be reused unless it is contaminated or several years old.

1988-91 Vehicles
See Figure 1

  2. Install the heater outlet duct and retaining bolts/screws. Tighten to 18 inch lbs. (2 Nm).
  3. Install the rear compartment heat duct adapter and secure with the bolts/screws. Tighten to 27 inch lbs. (3 Nm).
  4. Secure the right and left instrument panel sound insulators.
  5. Connect both heater hoses to the heater core. Secure using the retaining clamps.
  6. If equipped with a 1994-96 3.4L engine, perform the following:
    1. Install the transmission dipstick tube.
    2. Attach the exhaust crossover pipe.
    3. Connect the upper radiator hose to the engine assembly.
    4. Uncap and connect the fuel lines.
    5. Install the upper intake manifold.
  7. For 2.2L and 3.1L engines, rotate the engine back to its original position.

  1. Let us commence a journey into the much travelled topic of regal battery. At first glance regal battery may seem unenchanting, however its study is a necessity for any one wishing to intellectually advance beyond their childhood. Given that its influence pervades our society, several of todays most brilliant minds seem incapable of recognising its increasing relevance to understanding future generations. Inevitably feelings run deep amongst so called 'babie
